The Beauty of Dishonored

It forgoes the slightly more realistic art style of Dishonored 2 in favor of a wholly imaginative oil paint art style. By utilizing cel-shading it's able to deliver more stylistic visuals that will age much better than games that try for nothing but realism, and will without a doubt always look fantastic no matter how much technology advances; just look at Team-Fortress 2 or Wind Waker. A minor correction: out of the games mentioned, only Wind Waker and Breath of the Wild use cel-shading. The other games just use a style that's visually similar, but with more realistic lighting. Dishonored included! It's worth pointing out that I was using cheats in order to more quickly get the footage I wanted. I have 177 hours on Steam, and have played through this game every way imaginable countless times, so you know. Dishonored sure is interesting with infinite blink distance. I'd totally recommend people who have played through dozens of times like myself do a cheat engine playthrough, I recommend the Wemod trainer. PSA: Dishonored is completely playable, comprehensible, and navigable without HUD. Even if you're doing a full frontal assault playthrough that forgoes any notion of stealth, I totally recommend playing without HUD.
