Shipwreck beach and the surrounding coastline in the Ionian islands is one of those places and I have dreamed of taking my own boat to since I first started thinking about sailing the world. But as luck would have it just as we were about to experience this adventure of a lifetime we got sick. Unfortunately taking a few days to recover just isn’t an option since Desiree’s sister and her Fiancée are visiting us for their pre-wedding honeymoon. So we’re going to do everything we can to not let our drop in health stand in the way of this decade old dream. But sailing, hiking, swimming, and exploring these rugged coastlines can be exhausting and with our illness getting worse by the day we may just have to postpone the whole thing.
