Mormon Explains - People Are Treating Star Wars Like a Religion — And It’s Not a Joke

May 4th is Star Wars Day. In honor of the occasion, an Active Latter-day Saint prepared a special episode on the theology of Jediism. A worthy theology to consider. Jediism, as well as the Jedi mythology from the original Star Wars trilogy as developed by Producer Gary Kurtz (The Father of the Force) has considerable parallels in modern society and social issues (even politics which is relevant to consider in this conversation). The question (more Jedi or more Sith?), becomes a method to competently deal with moral issues and gray areas. With this in mind, it may be useful to consider values within the framework of our own political systems, such as conservative vs. progressive ideology. Which is more Jedi? Which has a firmer position in practical ethics. These things and more are considered in this discussion. Book Link: https://www.lulu.com/search?page=1&so...
