Balikligol: The Sacred Site Where Prophet Ibrahim (AS) Conquered the Fire, in Urfa Türkiye 🇹🇷

Balikligol: The Sacred Site Where Prophet Ibrahim (AS) Conquered the Fire, in Urfa Türkiye 🇹🇷 Join me on an unforgettable journey to Balıklıgöl, the legendary lake in Urfa (officially called Şanlıurfa), Turkey, where it is believed that Prophet Ibrahim (AS), known in the West as Prophet Abraham, miraculously conquered the fire. In Islamic tradition, this sacred site marks the place where the tyrant King Nimrod ordered Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to be thrown into a blazing fire for rejecting idol worship. But through divine intervention, the fire transformed into water, and the burning coals turned into fish, creating Balikligol Lake as we know it today. The black-colored carp, swimming peacefully here, are said to be descendants of those original fish, protected and revered for centuries. In this video, I’ll take you through the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), exploring the rich historical and spiritual significance of Balikligol. We’ll walk around the serene lake, visit a restaurant that serves Urfa kebab, and dive into the powerful legacy of this site, cherished by locals and visitors alike. If you’re interested in Islamic history, Turkish culture, or the incredible tales of faith and resilience, you won’t want to miss this.
