Listening to everyone's concerns has taught me a lot about what happens when you're an artist. That's because I only recently registered as an artist and haven't even registered any products yet. The concern I wanted to ask about this time is a very basic one... Selling your first product. What kind of mindset do you need? As I was aiming to become a graphic designer, I often went to art events as a customer. Gradually, I wanted to get involved myself, so I made postcards, letter sets, book covers, and even scrunchies and knitted items that were popular at the time, and set up stalls. Now I'm married and working, but I have more free time. I thought I'd like to get back on my feet and sell my handmade items! But Looking back, the quality of the products I was selling back then was far from good enough to make me any money... Thinking about that, I don't have much confidence in the things I make now. I posted something on Instagram and got a few likes, so I thought I'd be brave and try selling it! But I want it to be at least of that quality! I'd love to hear any tips you have.
