We then delve into Pavilion 83, a former workers' home that has now been transformed into a cultural center, a testament to the life and struggles of thousands of mineworkers. With every step, we discover how this city was able to adapt after the mines closed almost three decades ago. The community has begun to rebuild its present, investing in heritage tourism, culture, and local development.
