😱This Nissan Leaf Wouldn’t Start… The Real Cause Will Surprise You🔧💦

In this video, I diagnose a Nissan Leaf non-start issue with multiple dashboard warning lights and stored fault codes. The vehicle would not enter READY mode and, at times, wouldn’t even switch off. I begin the diagnosis by checking the key fob RF signal and batteries, an essential first step when dealing with no-start conditions on electric vehicles like the Nissan Leaf. Next, I move on to the Body Control Module (BCM), inspecting power, grounds, wiring, and connectors located behind the glove box. This is where the real issue starts to show. During inspection, I find corrosion (green crusties) on the BCM connectors. After carefully cleaning the pins and reinstalling the module, the car starts and drives normally again. Finally, I trace the root cause to water ingress from a leaking passenger-side windscreen, allowing moisture to drip directly onto the BCM over time.
