You will see that discrepancies exist and it is quite profound. The Match rate for MD seniors was 64%, but every other group was significantly LOWER! This is SUPER scary! The match rate overall was about 58% for the specialty, which means about 1/2 people did NOT match! :O 01:54-02:42 - Overview of the Data (STEP2CK Score, Pubs, AOA, Prestige?) 02:43-03:10 - What Was the Average STEP2 Score for Individuals Matching into Neurosurgery? (Separated by DO vs. MD vs. IMG) Hard to believe literally everyone has more than 250! (Separated by DO vs. MD vs. IMG) Note that research experiences are NOT the same as the number of publications, abstracts, and posters!
