Ten teachers from the As Syafiiyah Islamic Quran Memorization Elementary School in Magelang, Central Java, died in a traffic accident. Based on the crime scene investigation, police stated that no brake marks were found from the sand-carrying truck that caused the accident. The incident began when the truck was traveling from Magelang towards Purworejo. Upon arriving at the scene, the vehicle suddenly lost control, hit a public minibus (public transportation) in front of it, crushing it, and then crashed into a house on the side of the road.
