たたかいのあと - YUINO & Souichi (Music Video)

During my journey through Peru, I visited ancient ruins in the Andes. Although this land had once witnessed countless battles and conflicts, what I felt there was a sense of peace and gentleness. I wondered , why is a place marked by so much struggle now embraced by such a tranquil presence? Then, between the cracks of the stone ruins, I noticed a single flower blooming with quiet strength.🌼 At that moment, I felt that this flower might be a warrior who once fell in battle on this land. Perhaps the warrior transformed into a flower, becoming part of Mother Earth ”Pachamama” watching over us still. On this Mother Earth, countless battles have taken place throughout history, and they continue even now. Behind the lives we live today, how many conflicts have unfolded? How many ancestors have lost their lives so that life itself could continue? How many stories exist of families left behind , of loved ones waiting, only to lose those they cherished? We, who are living in this very moment, may be standing on the continuation of those stories. I wanted to create a song that allows each of us to touch those lingering feelings once more , the emotions left behind on this Earth. From that intention, this song was born. For the filming, we returned to Peru and spent two months traveling in pilgrimage, visiting sacred mountains and ancient ruins throughout the Andes. The filming was done by Souichi, and the video concept and editing were created by two of us. our dear friends in Peru kindly joined us as performers. Before filming, we all went to greet the sacred mountains, and they then appeared in the video as warriors. The instrument from Andes music were recorded by musicians who grew up with these sounds in their lives. For the recording sessions, we were welcomed to stay in a house deep in the mountains, owned by a Peruvian mamita. This work was made possible through the support and generosity of many people. We hope that those who encounter this piece will find something that goes beyond words. With deep gratitude.🙏 YUINO & Souichi 《Story 》 On the Mother Earth who loved him unconditionally, a warrior approaching death sings his feelings to her. At the same time, there is a wife waiting for the return of the warrior she loves. With nothing left to do but pray " Please, let him still be alive " she sings, entrusting her voice to the wind. The feelings of the warrior and his wife, and the story of Mother Earth who embraces them all. When a warrior sings I Mother, you always held me in your arms, no matter the moment. Mother, you always lived deep within my heart. The day I had a child, and the day I left for the battlefield. I wished to see my beloved family once more, but I know that soon I will die, resting in your embrace. With this body, so small, I could not hold you as I truly wished. But now, I will become you, and with your vastness, I will hold those I loved. ll Is the one I love still alive? I can only ask the wind, while our child grows stronger each day. Live, live, live, I beg you live, live, live. If only you are there, just that alone, is enough to make me happy. With this small body that I have, I long so deeply to hold you. Why do humans fight and turn against one another, upon the Mother who loves us, who, even wounded, continues to love us still? Mother, let me become you so that together with you I may protect them. Let me wrap them in this immense love that overflowed my body and could not be contained. My beloved, perhaps this was, at last, the true reason for my battle. . . .
