The Austrian race also highlighted the difficult moment for the Ferrari SF-26. After its success in Barcelona, ​​the Italian team has once again shown some competitiveness difficulties. The new, advanced engine brought a minimal gain, only useful for a few hundredths of a second, but not enough to change the overall picture. The problem appears to be broader: in addition to the internal combustion engine's deficit, electrical energy management is also a factor, with significant differences on the straights compared to the competition. Max Verstappen also returned to the forefront, showing a speed that had been lacking in recent races. Red Bull is still not as dominant as in the past, but the Dutch champion has shown he has the pace to stay ahead. It was a more difficult weekend for McLaren, who appeared competitive on Friday but then struggled in the race, while Racing Bulls performed well, turning a strong qualifying performance into important points.
