Historical Kot diji Fort | Talpur Dynasty | khairpur | Sindh | Pakistan

Few days ago, I had a chance to visit a 300 years old fort located in #KotDiji, district khairpur of Sindh, Pakistan. To my surprise, I found the fort well maintained and housekeep except sheesh mahal. This fact makes it worth visiting for history lovers and spending a quality time while roaming in the royal cantonment and residency built 300 years ago by Mir Sohrab khan Talpur. The fort has three main parts, all having big entrances with elephant proof gates. The royals resided in the third portion, the last and heighted portion of the fort. Imaginary pictures of Talpur rulers, their love with architecture are pasted on the walls in a room outside the fort.
