While thousands of people rush through every day, others live there. In this new episode of FIELES, we delve into the heart of Constitución to learn about the lives of those who work, survive, or spend their nights inside one of Buenos Aires' busiest stations. We speak with vendors, workers, and people who live in the area. A baker helps those who ask for food but also lives with the exhaustion, anger, and stress of constant requests. Vendors recount what it's like to work surrounded by cracks, robberies, and violent situations that repeat themselves every day. A hot dog vendor shares anecdotes of daily violence and the constant feeling of being on high alert. The other side also emerges: very human stories of people trying to get ahead, raise their children, and avoid falling into a cycle where often the only options seem to be stealing, prostitution, or begging. During the tour, the police stopped us several times, making it clear that filming there isn't easy. This episode shows the constant contradiction of Constitución: solidarity and weariness, fear and habit, abandonment and resistance.
