Use a voltage tester to confirm that there's no electrical current running to the wiring. -Remove Existing Fixture: If there's an existing light fixture or fan in place, remove it carefully. This typically involves removing screws and disconnecting wires. Keep track of which wires are connected to what. -Install the Ceiling Fan Mounting Bracket: If your ceiling doesn't have a mounting bracket and box suitable for a fan, you'll need to install one. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to secure the bracket and electrical box to the ceiling joist. Ensure it's stable and can support the fan's weight. -Assemble the Fan: Follow the fan manufacturer's instructions to assemble the fan.
