We are in Lombardy, in the heart of the Staffora Valley, in what was once a village populated by hundreds of souls. Today, only a shadow of those times remains. These are the remains of an ancient community of considerable size; it's no surprise that there was once such a large church, built so many centuries ago. Let's reconstruct its history. Miraculously, the solitary bell tower still stands, proudly standing, almost as if waiting. Its invisible bells haven't rung for over 60 years, when the church was excommunicated and the parish moved elsewhere. A sad end, also suffered by the old cemetery nearby, of which almost nothing remains, as if history had been erased forever.
