Warrenton – A Wonderfully Operational Train Station! Ep 348

Our trip to Warrenton in the Northern Cape was an awesome experience, despite arriving in the dark once again and just as loadshedding struck. We indulged in delicious Portuguese food from O Galo, before settling into our accommodation. The next morning, we were finally able to witness the beauty of the place, and it did not disappoint. After a delightful cup of coffee, we made our way to the Vaal River, a mere 200 meters from our unit, and were awestruck by its stunning vistas. Exploring the town was a delight, as we encountered a charming old steam engine, the historic old bridge, a wonderfully operational train station, and the intriguing old blockhouse near the railway bridge.
