Pooja Bhatiya | We Crossover

Pooja Bhatiya originally hails from Rajasthan. From the last three years she has found home in Mumbai, where her writing journey began. Here, she shares Urdu poetry on love, woven with humor along with romance. About We Crossover With the aim to bring poetry by women to the forefront, The Poetry Club & Goethe-Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan in association with Women Empowered India had come up with a unique concept that unifies women from 4 languages to recite their poems in a day-long event titled ‘We Crossover.’ We Crossover showcased more than 32 poetesses. They represnted languages as diverse as Hindi, English, Urdu and Marathi across 5 poetry sessions held throughout the day. This event has been conceptualized by Sanket Mhatre & Smeetha Bhowmick. About Crossover Poems It started when Sanket Mhatre and eight other poets gave their first ever multi-lingual performance in Goa during in a prominent poetry festival. This multilingual poetry session was later initiated in Mumbai the following year in association with The Poetry Club & Goethe-Institut, Max Mueller Bhavan, Mumbai.
