I came to Amritsar knowing I wanted to visit the Golden Temple, but I did not realize I would end up spending hours wandering chaotic markets just trying to find one important thing. What I thought would be a simple purchase turned into a full cultural experience that completely changed how I looked and how I understood the place I was visiting.
