Tools and resources for effective biodiversity mainstreaming: Spatial Tools

This webinar aims to demonstrate how mapping and spatial data can help decision makers at sub-national and local level identify priority areas, promote cross sectoral mainstreaming and support the achievement of targets for the sustainable conservation and management of biodiversity. In line with the INTERACT-Bio project objective of strengthening learning and knowledge exchange across the city-regions and subnational governments in the Global South, this webinar forms part of a six part knowledge exchange series to strengthen the capacity of city-regions to integrate nature into land use, infrastructure and development planning at the local level. As such, the webinar will present case studies from across the Global South, with experiences and lessons from mapping in India, Ethiopia, Colombia and Tanzania among others.
