I added an HDMI port to the factory navigation system in my new Honda Freed (GT series) myself. #pr Adding an HDMI port can cost tens of thousands of yen if done at a dealership, but this time, I was able to install it myself for only about 1,000 yen in parts, even as a complete amateur. Also, my car already had a "TV canceller" installed at the dealership, but since the HDMI port installation process also provides access to the canceller, I've included the procedure for those who are planning to do it themselves. (The canceller part can be purchased online for around 2,000 yen.)
