The Amp Everyone Loves But Nobody Wants
The Crate Vintage Club 50 is an all tube guitar amp from the 90's. I recently picked one up for $25 and wanted to find out why everyone loves the way it sounds but nobody wants one. Apparently it's hard to even give these amps away. This one is a 2x12 combo, 50watts, el84 tubes in the power section -- simlar setup to a Vox AC30. In this video, I demo the amp then take it somewhere to crank it up.
