Val d'Ayas: salita primaverile al M. Zerbion - HD 1080 50p

Zerbion is the well-known and highly frequented 2,722-meter peak that seemingly closes the Ayas basin to the south and, on the opposite side, dominates St. Vincent. The ascent is a very common hike, especially along the route that starts from Barmasc and then follows the north ridge after crossing Col Portola: this is the most common and shortest route (https://www.ayastrekking.it/escursion.... Alternatively, the Promiod route is also well-known (https://www.ayastrekking.it/escursion..., with a greater elevation gain but also without technical difficulties. Finally, the Via delle Roccette along the south ridge is an interesting mountaineering itinerary with a difficulty level of AD-. In this video, we document the ascent from Barmasc in spring conditions, with the last snowfields still present, and a few alternatives to avoid them. Maximum difficulty: E.
