Stills Scene Vol. 11: Fireworks Photographer Takeshi Kinmu, December 26, 2025 Hello, I'm photographer Junya Inagaki. This "Stills Scene" feature is a series where we take a look at the shooting locations of various stills photographers and photographers. Our 11th installment features fireworks photographer Takeshi Kinmu. I met Kinmu while filming a video for a lecture at CP+2024. I was captivated by his beautiful fireworks photos and his talk. We then met again at CP+2025, where we had the opportunity to actually photograph fireworks at the venue in Yokohama. That fireworks photoshoot was so memorable, I wanted to hear more from Kinmu in person. The shoot took place at the Maruko-no-Watashi Fireworks Festival on October 18, 2025. It was a medium-sized fireworks festival, uncrowded, and the conditions were perfect for filming. Since the fireworks photography was at night, we decided to interview him on another day. We had a chance to take a closer look at Kintake's photography career and see his many fireworks photos. This video was shot entirely on an iPhone 14 Pro and edited with Premiere Pro.
