I got a few replies to my 'spindle gouge' article in the newsletter last week and so I thought I would try and help a few folks out by looking at how the spindle gouge operates. I took a closer look at the Spindle Gouge in three previous live streams in late December 2023. You can find those archived on my website and my YouTube channel. It is time for a refresher. I have finished turning two smaller vessels, so what is next? I have a few more to finish turning. I plan to use what ever tools I have or feel comfortable with but there are always options. Also, I think I will paint these vessels since the grain of the silver maple is not that interesting. I am looking for inspiration... Join the conversation.
