4R100 Solenoid Pack Teardown Part 1 @StardustAutomotive

So I want to show everyone how inexpensive and easy it is to rebuild and repair a 4R100 solenoid pack. I wasn’t planning to make a video but I was very angry at Sonnex and TransGo for not showing any professional courtesy as well as straight up lying to me. These are NOT expensive to rebuild and there are NO hidden secrets to rebuilding them. There is a simple fix to clean and reseal the connector so it doesn’t leak again AND a simple way to replace a defective solenoid for less then $20 per solenoid if not less. For Sonnex and TransGo to speak to me the way they did and make up some excuse about the complexity of this is appalling. I was really taken back by all of this because it’s the first time I’ve ever had these companies try to deceive me. BUT….necessity is the father to all inventions so here you all go.
