It's Exam season and we are nearing the time to choose which university to study Dentistry at. For a lot of UK students, due to the high levels of competition, places can be quite hard to get, so studying overseas is typically the way to go for many of us, myself included So in this video, I highlight some of the most common mistakes that people make when deciding where to go abroad and where to study. A lot of "agencies and agents" will promise you the world, and in most cases (I have fallen victim to this) they will get you to move your entire life to another country with the hopes and dreams of being placed into a valid university, only to then take your money and leave you with something complete substandard. This is also the case with transfers especially, promising to put you into higher years, taking your money when you're most desperate and vulnerable, then running away when you need them the most.
