7 trains recorded at railroad crossing in Radwan, Poland during two trips in 2020 and 2021. Railroad crossing was located on CMK line (Central Railway Corridor) which fulfills the purpose of high speed intercity connection between Upper Silesian industrial region, Kraków and Warsaw cities in Poland. Unique railroad crossing operated under the relay-based COB-63A automatic crossing system from 1970s (CMK line itself was finished as late as 1977), consisting of about 60 electromagnetic relays. Additionally, crossing was equipped with a custom quad-gate controller circuit, never seen in the production variants of the system (most likely used only on CMK-line crossings). This upgrade, developed in 1988 due to the speed limit on CMK line being raised to 160 km/h, was the first implementation of automatic quad-gate crossing on polish railway network. Railroad crossing in Radwan was removed in July 2021 after being replaced by an overpass. Since this section of the CMK line was about to be upgraded to 125 MPH it could no longer include any railroad crossings along its route (highest railway speed in Poland which permits railroad crossings is 100 MPH) and as such few remaining crossings on the line had to be removed.
