ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨਰਿੰਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇਸ਼ ਲਈ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਾਡਲ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਵਿਵਸਥਿਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਬਿਹਤਰ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੈ। PM ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਾਂ ਚੰਡੀ ਦਾ ਆਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਸੰਹਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਵੀ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਲਾਭ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।  Addressing the programme in Chandigarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Chandigarh is a model of development for the country. He stated that the identity of Chandigarh lies in its planned development, better healthcare facilities, and modern infrastructure. PM Modi said that the blessings of Maa Chandi are also an important part of the city’s identity.
