Throughout the piece we pass some fragments of Debussy's 'Preludes For Piano' through a Roland RE-20 Space Delay. *Every Tear Just For You Intended as a homage to Prince, or possibly even more so to the masses in Minneapolis who mourned his passing. A rocking horse toggling between a René Magritte cloudy sky and Prince’s album ‘Around The World In A Day’ *Power Is In The Heart Inspired by a song by Brother & Sister WB Grate from the compilation ‘Fire In My Bones, Raw & Rare & Other-Worldly African American Gospel (1944-2007)’. *Slow Rock Boogie (on tape) The voices are taken from an interview by George Thorogood with John Lee Hooker. *Basket Dance Waltz Inspired by the 'basket dance', a Belgian Folk Dance. With lace garments from Brittany or Bruges. The baskets have now become plastic bags. *Love In Your Heart Inspired by a sermon of Pastor A.W. Mays at the Lilly Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Houston, Texas. *Lay Your Years With Mine The song began once as simple verses dedicated to the Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca composed on the Plaza de las Tendillas in Cordoba. After revisiting the poem years later, the verses, telling of Lorca's youth in Spain and murder during the Spanish Civil War, were completed in song with an extra fourth verse written on the day of the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. A song of youth, the longing for one another, injustice, and the loneliness of death. *Man & Woman Music inspired by ‘Don’t Let Your Right Hand Know’ by Sonny Boy Williamson. The dancers do an English folk dance as seen in the 1953 documentry from the Alan Lomax archives ‘Oss Oss Wee Oss' about the May day celebrations in Padstow, UK. Countrymen dance like 80ties New Wave ravens. *Debussy & Space Delay *Slow Rock Boogie (live) *Hans Inspired by modern folk dance Jumpstyle. *Hexentanz Dance & music are inspired by Mary Wigman's famous expressionist Hexentanz from 1913. *O Joy A gentle ode to nature.
