UK’s BEST seascape location?
Photographing the Isle of Harris for two weeks is always a joy — and in this video I’m sharing a landscape & seascape photography vlog from my fortnight on the island, where I was leading photography workshops and making the most of every break in the weather. Across the trip I managed to catch some brilliant conditions: dramatic skies, shifting light, and those classic Harris colours that make the beaches and coastline feel almost otherworldly. You’ll see behind-the-scenes moments from out on location, how I approached compositions on the day, and a selection of the final images I made during the workshops and in between sessions. If you’re planning your own trip (or just love Scottish landscapes), I hope this gives you a feel for what it’s like photographing Harris — the rewards, the challenges, and how quickly the light can change. 📍 Filmed on the Isle of Harris, Outer Hebrides, Scotland 📷 Landscape & seascape photography | behind the scenes | photo vlog If you enjoyed the video, please consider subscribing for more landscape photography vlogs, behind-the-scenes shoots, editing breakdowns, and location trips. 0:00 Intro 01:51 first comp walkthrough 03:41 second comp walkthough 06:30 In need of a break 07:10 Northton 08:00 Salt flats shot 12:31 Scarista Beach 13:57 In the dunes 17:49 More images from Harris LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS: https://www.lensdistrict.com/bookworksh SIGN UP FOR 'FOCUSED' NEWSLETTER HERE: https://www.lensdistrict.com/focused-...
