He Builds an Amazing Underground Dugout in the Forest | Start to Finish

I dug a hole in the forest floor and built a complete underground dugout — stone walls, moss roof, and a furnished interior hidden beneath the ground. It starts with the dig — a large pit cut by hand, deep enough to stand in and wide enough to live in. Once the earth was cleared I lined the walls with dry-laid stone, course by course, giving the interior real structure and keeping the soil back where it belongs. The roof went on last, framed over the opening and covered with a thick layer of natural moss that pulls the whole thing back into the landscape above it. Inside I built everything from wood on site — a sleeping platform, shelving, and furniture sized for the space. From the surface, just a hill. From inside, a real home underground.
