What is the LaseMD Ultra? | Dr Davin Lim

The LaseMD Ultra is my Fraxel replacement. We still have 3 Fraxel devices at Clinic Cutis, however this laser provides faster treatments, with less discomfort than Fraxel. Additionally LaseMD Ultra has unique spot sizes & delivery modes to treat stubborn sunspots, requiring far less treatments compared to Fraxel. This laser can treat conditions such as sun damage, pigmentation, melasma & wrinkling. . What is fractional laser resurfacing? Fractional laser resurfacing, as the name suggests, uses laser light to treat a predetermined portion of the skin’s surface. This allows for great results, with a controlled recovery time. By selecting a specific laser wavelength, I can ‘tune in’ laser light to different targets in the skin, at different levels. Lasers are tools to complete a job as efficiently & as safely as possible. Fractional lasers give me & my clinical team complete control over most (not all) conditions, including different skin concerns, downtime as well as optimal wavelengths depending on skin colour & ethnicity.
