🚂 Yangon Circular Train Route & Timetable The Yangon Circular Train operates in both directions: Counter-clockwise (Left loop) and Clockwise (Right loop). The journey begins at Yangon Central Railway Station. Along the 45.9-kilometer loop, the train passes through 39 suburban stations, including major hubs like Insein, Mingaladon, and Danyingon. While regular trains usually start running around 6:00 AM, the official circular loop trains depart from Yangon Central Railway Station at only two specific times in the morning: 8:40 AM and 9:30 AM. For my ride, I took the train heading towards the Insein side. Ticket Fares Ticket prices generally range from 400 Kyats to 1,000 Kyats per person, depending on the travel distance and the type of train coach. For a complete full-loop ride around the city, it costs just 800 Kyats per person.
