Crazy Taxi 2 (Dreamcast) - (Around Apple | Cinnamon | Crazy Rank | Longplay)

Ah CT2, new music, new product placement and a new cast of characters. It's essentially the same as CT 1 but the new features here is you can now pick up multiple customers for a bigger pay and of course the new maneuver that makes your taxi jump aka the crazy hop. Not much else to say really, it's a lot easier to get the crazy rank here as well since passengers can offer you lots of time to get to your destination. Picking up a group of passengers can give you even more time as well, just remember your shortcuts and you'll be able to save more time. The only gripe I have is the 4 areas (Hospital, Fire Station, Police Station, Post office) at the top part of around apple that will always eat at your timer no matter what you do. Going through the stadium or via the zoo, no matter what I do there's never enough time, at best you can get either normal or slow rank when you arrive at these destinations. Small Apple on the other hand, it's an okay map but it's way too tight to maneuver your cab in this map. I might tackle it in the future after a little bit of practice. The challenges are here as well only instead of crazy box it's now crazy pyramid. Complete all the challenges and you'll unlock our cabbies from CT1 and the final challenge as well (only instead of roaming around apple, you have to roam around small apple instead.) Overall, it's just as fast and crazy like the 1st game. The new hop mechanic is neat since it offers you multiple shortcuts you can take, the music is just as great though it's now offspring and methods of mayhem who provided the music, the new cabbies are just as neat and expressive and of course, the product placement is here as well (anyone wanna go to burger king?) If you loved the speed and adrenaline you get in the first game, then CT 2 won't disappoint you with it's new maps and challenges!
