These places are very important pilgrimage sites for the followers of Hinduism.  In short, these five Sati Peeths are:  🔔 Kankalitala: Here Goddess Kankaleshwari is worshipped. 🔔 Bakreshwar: Here Goddess Mahishmardini is worshipped. 🔔 Nalhati: Here Goddess Nalateshwari is worshipped. 🙏 #Ma_Nalateshwari_Nalhati : 🙏 The Maa Nalateshwari temple located in Nalhati town of Birbhum district of West Bengal is one of the 51 sacred Shaktipeeths of Hinduism, where it is believed that the umbilical cord (node) of Sati fell. At this ancient Peeth, which is about 14,000 years old, Maa Nalateshwari is worshipped on a 4-foot-high rock on a hill, which is basically an important center of Shakta religion. 🙏 Important information about Nalateshwari Temple: 🙏 Location: This temple is located on a hill slope, about 25 km from Tarapith, near Nalhati station in Birbhum district. 🙏 History and Legend: It is said that Sati's throat or 'Nal' fell here, hence the name of the place Nalhati. According to legend, a saint named Kamadeva of Kashi established the temple at this place after receiving a dream message. Later, Queen Bhabani of Natore and later King Ranendra Narayan renovated it. 🙏 Architecture: The temple is built in the 'Atchala' architectural style of ancient Bengal. 🙏 Puja and Festivals: Mother is worshipped every day, but on the night of Kali Puja, Mother Nalateshwari is specially adorned with dak and gold ornaments. 🙏Speciality: There is no idol in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, a stone rock is worshipped as the goddess, which is about 4 feet high.
