Guitar tone lesson: "Cutting Through the Mix"
I wish I had this video 10 years ago (when I still wasn't very good at playing guitar). In this video, I break down two guitar tones into the lows, mids and highs so you can hear exactly what each part of the guitar tone sounds like when isolated. We'll also look at squirrels, massive drum kit and why you might want to keep those highs in your guitar tone. We'll then see and hear these tones in a mix with drums, bass and a second guitar and see which one stands out.
