Because it turns moments into memories and strangers into communities. Enjoyment is not a side effect of our work—it is the starting point. If music does not delight, challenge, or move us, it has not yet done its job. 2. Enjoyment Is Serious Work Joy is not shallow. Pleasure is not passive.
