🚨 IMPORTANT WARNING FOR GARDENERS! Wood ash is a natural, free, and mineral-rich fertilizer, but it carries hidden risks! Instead of helping, you could harm your crops, especially tomatoes. Watch the video to learn how to use it wisely! In this video, I discuss three major application mistakes: ❌ Mistake 1: Overapplication and alkaline pH Ash has a highly alkaline pH (pH 10-12). Too much raises the soil pH above the optimal level (5.5-6.5 for tomatoes), which leads to BLOCKING the absorption of key trace elements (Iron, Manganese) and Phosphorus. ❌ Mistake 2: Ion antagonism (a calcium trap!) Excess potassium from ash disrupts the soil balance and blocks the uptake of calcium (Ca) by tomatoes. The result?
