Jessica Kert is a modular synth connoisseur who’s become known across the globe in recent years for her intricate, psychedelia infused, murky Techno style which has found a home on imprints such as Detroit Underground, Atmophile Electronics and Associated Paraboloid. On top of her regular work at Berlin synth haven Schneider’s Laden, Jessica is also providing workshops exclusively for the FLINTA community. Here though, Kert joins our gear focused Tech Talk series and allows us to dive into her modular system and approach to composing with modular synthesis, patching cables and feeling the physicality of frequencies through this method of production.
