Bill Young focuses on LDS YouTuber Hayden Carroll, who debates a Christian apologist and challenges sola scriptura, biblical inerrancy, canon formation, and certainty, using claims that human authorship and free will require fallible scripture and even raising simulation/“brain in a vat” scenarios. Young calls this secular humanism and an atheistic-style radical skepticism meant to undermine the Bible to defend LDS continuing revelation, and says it contributes to LDS deconstructing into atheism.
