Here is a nice response from late Dr. Israr Ahmad, founder of Tanzeem-e-Islami, about the Tableeghi Jamaat (Jam'ātu't-Tablīgh) Sorry note: A correction is to be made in the subtitles: the meaning of Islāh is reformation of Muslims not of Islām. A few of Dr. Israr's Urdu words were not clear to me, so their subtitles have not been given. It seems not understanding those words aren't really a hindrance to understanding the whole message.
