Dlaczego audiofile wierzą w cuda?

If you like my work, you can support it with a donation: https://buycoffee.to/tonskladowy Mr. Wojciech from High Fidelity's recent lecture at @AudioVideoSummit gave me a lot to think about. The sound of hard drives, memory cards, and other things that, as Mr. Wojciech himself said, "computer geeks can't fathom." Truly true miracles, audio voodoo of the highest order. And it was this very talk that prompted me to reflect on the essence of authority in audiophilia and how this ninth circle of initiation works. Reading the comments during the broadcast, I noticed that quite a few people didn't even question the validity of the claims being made. Why is this? Why are audiophiles able to believe that a hard drive affects the sound of music? How far is the line before such an initiated audiophile says, "Hey, that doesn't make sense!" I also analyze the communication methods of industry authorities, the eristic and sociological tricks that serve to diminish the assertiveness of such audiophiles and, as a result, encourage them to believe in miracles. These are my subjective observations based on several years of observing the behavior of the audiophile community and the communication methods within it.
