Cottonwood Fire, nation’s largest wildfire, burns 92,000 acres in southern Utah

The Cottonwood Fire, burning near Beaver in the Fishlake National Forest, has now covered over 92,000 acres, fire officials said in an update Saturday. The Cottonwood Fire has grown to 92,254 acres and remains 0% contained as firefighters continue battling extreme fire behavior. The blaze is now the largest active wildfire in the nation.
