Plaza del 20 de Julio: historia, trabajo y cocina comunitaria | Pura Plaza

#PuraPlaza | Plaza del 20 de Julio, inaugurated in 1975, emerged in southern Bogotá as a meeting point for agricultural products from Ubaque, Chipaque, and the Llanos region, in a neighborhood inhabited by laborers and farmworkers. Over time, it was remodeled in 2010, and in 2017, 12 better-equipped kitchens were added. From small stoves and gas cylinders to modern facilities with natural gas, the plaza continues to be a space of tradition, work, and community cooking. *Content funded by the Single ICT Fund.
