Dr. Christian Stauf _____________________________ On this channel, you will find selected lectures on the following topics: Warranty Law Product and Producer Liability Intellectual Property & Innovation E-Commerce ______________________________ I am an industrial engineer and try to make legal concepts more accessible to aspiring business administration students, electrical and information technology engineers, mechanical engineers, biologists, etc.—in other words, non-lawyers. Experience has shown that the skepticism of the technically trained but generally very inexperienced legal audience is quite high: Law is dry and is viewed by students at technical universities as about as practical as Latin! Therefore, my main goal is to make the lectures interesting, to make legal concepts understandable for the layperson, and to establish connections to the students' fields of study. The lectures do not claim to be a comprehensive presentation of the respective topics. Nor are they intended to prepare law students for their exams. In that respect, "real" lawyers may forgive the occasional imprecise phrasing; these are all intended to make this extremely complex subject matter somewhat more understandable for those without legal training. :-) If there is interest, I would be happy to post further lectures online.
