Exploring the beautiful island of Skiathos

We stayed at Villa Angela (Airbnb) on the island of Skiathos for eleven days at the beginning of June. During our stay we visited many of the islands beaches, some are only accessible by car and I would highly recommend hiring a Jeep or 4x4 as the roads can get very rough in certain locations. Most evenings were spent dining out at the numerous restaurants dotted along the coastline and we enjoyed visiting Skiathos town for a bit of shopping, a stroll around the old cobbled streets and a drink or two at the many bars located around the harbour. After visiting a number of other greek islands, Skiathos is certainly one of our favourites and we look forward to returning again soon.
