We Are FINISHED With Breeding

Could this be our biggest foaling season yet? Today we're pregnancy-checking multiple mares and finding out which foals are officially on the way! 🐴💕🌾 Today at Running Springs, we're preg-checking five mares, doing a follow-up ultrasound on Opal, and finally getting answers on some of the pregnancies I've been most anxious and excited about this breeding season. After months of planning, embryo transfers, and plenty of crossed fingers, it's time to see who's carrying our 2027 foals! We check Sophie’s highly anticipated VS Code Red embryo, see if Ginger's baby is growing right on schedule, confirm exciting news for Phoebe, and take a closer look at Opal’s growing little one. Of course, not every breeding season goes exactly according to plan, so we also talk through some of the mares that didn’t settle and what our next steps will be moving forward. Breeding season is always an emotional roller coaster, and this year has been no different. From embryo transfers to heartbeat checks and ultrasound surprises, I’m sharing all the highs, lows, and behind-the-scenes moments that come with building the next generation of horses here on the farm.
