Solo Wild Camping | South Wales Valleys

I took a trip in the mountains of South Wales for a lakeside solo wild camp. This is probably the most picturesque place I have ever pitched a tent. The water was like glass and bounced the reflection of the caldera like mountains behind in a way that was just breath taking. The walk in meant I got outstanding views of the whole Brecon Beacons and a birds eye view of the lake and my pitch for the night. In typical Holmes Away fashion the rain did arrive eventually but it did nothing to dampen the experience of a truly stunning spot.
