⁴ᴷ Kanagawa: Odawara Station (神奈川県: 小田原駅) - Japan Walking Tour (November, 2024)

As the weather gets colder, I’m heading to western Japan. I’ll be visiting the major cities in Shikoku, but along the way, I decided to take a walk around the area near Odawara Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. The last time I visited was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the restaurant district was very quiet back then. Now, the shopping streets have become lively again, with people out recruiting customers—a big change. What surprised me was the empty lot in front of the Don Quijote store, now surrounded by construction barriers. I believe there used to be a commercial facility there, but it seems a new apartment building is going up.
