Making & Distressing a GOONIES Treasure Map Prop Replica by Magnoli Props

See the steps we take when making One Eyed Willy's Treasure Map from the 1985 classic adventure film The Goonies. After studying the original prop photos and screen grabs, we carefully hand drew the entire design on several different sheets, scanned and combined them digitally. Professionally printed onto heavy weight watercolor paper, then aged using several techniques including staining, painting, folding, burning and waxing... this map is entire hand-made to mimic the original prop and a well worn piece of history.
